The Hero of Better Keurig Coffee
Why Use Reusable K Cups?
Brew Richer Flavor - The mesh in metal k cups allows natural coffee oils into your cup. Plastic or paper pods filter those oils out, which strips your coffee of body and aroma.
Brew Fresh - With reusable k cups, you control your coffee grounds. Select fresh roasted coffee instead of pods with coffee that was roasted months ago.
Sustainability - Stainless steel reusable K cups last a life-time. Brew without plastic waste and refill instead of landfill. Read more about lower packaging waste with reusable k cups.
Savings - Premium espresso k cups can cost up to $2.50 per brew. With Peak Flavor Coffee, you’re closer to $0.50 per cup, with far better taste.

The Right Grind Size for Metal K Cups
How We Grind for Reusable K Cups?
The “just right” grind that makes Keurig coffee taste bold, not bitter
Grind size is where most home brews go sideways, so I’m a little obsessed with getting it right. Too fine (around 300 microns) and your Keurig cup turns sharp and bitter. Too coarse (near 750 microns) and it goes thin and watery. After plenty of testing, we landed on about 500 microns as the sweet spot for Keurig Espresso. 450 microns for Cappuccino and Cafe Latte. stainless steel reusable K cups. We use professional burr grinders to hit 98%+ consistency, so your reusable K cup extracts cleanly and evenly, delivering rich espresso-style flavor with real body.
More Uniform Grinds - More Flavor
Why Grind Size Consistency Matters?
Why a “tight” grind delivers smoother, richer Keurig espresso-style coffee
Grind size consistency sounds nerdy, but it’s the difference between “wow” and “why is this both bitter and sour?”
When coffee particles are uniform, they extract evenly, giving you balanced espresso-style flavor, fuller body, and smoother results. That’s what the chart shows: the ideal is a tall, narrow peak, meaning about 98% of grounds hit the same size.
The opposite is a wide, messy spread, where fine bits over-extract (bitter) and coarse bits under-extract (weak or sour). Since most home blade grinders chop unevenly, we precision-mill our pre-ground Italian coffee for reusable K cups to keep extraction clean and crema-like.
